[CPA exam] How to Request a physical calculator and pencils, scratch papers.

 

This is What you are Given by Default.

• You get a pair of laminated papers (checkered and pink or yellow on the front, blank on the back).

• Really fat blunt and oily markers.
  
  

You're not suppose to erase anything.

 

Request some Scratch papers and Pencils?

• You can contact below by email with your name and section ID.

• candidatecare@nasba.org

• It states that is valid for one year.
• A blue booklet that amounts to 2 normal sheets of paper, of which you can use front and back, so 4 sides of a normal 8.5×11 in total.
• They also give you two pencils.

The paper would be given to you by the security staff and it would not be able to leave the testing area.

 

You do not have to be disabled to request paper and pencil.

 

You can request more paper, but they will take the original paper back.

 

 

 

You can Request a Physical Calculator?

 

• You may request a hand-held calculator to prometric centor without prior permission.
• Phone ahead or bring one just in case, and use it when they have run out of calculators.
• Small(the size of a deck of cards) or fat finger(a larger type with an angled screen and larger buttons) calculator is up to prometic center.

 

 

Bring squishy ear plugs.

• It is better than uncomfy buzzing noise canceling headphones given.
• But you have to throw it away after the exam.
