At no time will your personal information be used by Prometric for any other purpose without your permission. Your personal information, including your test results, will be provided to your test sponsor for the purposes of providing scores, certification, or other test-related services. The full Prometric Privacy Policy can be found at https://www.prometric.com/en-us/documents/PrometricPrivacyPolicy.pdf.
We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Our employees, agents and contractors who have access to personal data and information are required to protect the information in a manner that is consistent with the Prometric Privacy Policy and upholds the confidentiality of the information and the rights of data subjects, and we seek assurances from such third parties that they will provide the same level of privacy protection as Prometric requires of its employees and adheres to, including in regards to applicable data protection law. We do not transfer information to third parties who are not acting as Prometric's agent or on Prometric's behalf under an appropriate contractual relationship.
Prometric LLC is headquartered in the United States of America. Personal data of domestic U.S. and international candidates will be accessed from or transferred to the United States for processing, or to our affiliates and data processors elsewhere in the world. “International candidates” are candidates or employees residing outside of the United States on a permanent basis who do not hold a United States passport. Prometric will always protect the privacy and security of personal data, regardless of the location of the individual where it is originally collected or ultimately processed or stored. Personal Data that is collected and processed from you, the data subject and/or exam candidate, is authorized through your application and/or contract with your test sponsor to take an exam, your registration and scheduling through Prometric, and the collection of your express consent by clicking “I Consent” below.
Prometric maintains certification to the EU/U.S. Privacy Shield as well as the Swiss/U.S. Privacy Shield for the purposes of transfers of Personal Data from the European Economic Area. You may also submit a Data Subject Access Request directly to Prometric at www.prometric.com/datasubjectrequests.
VIDEO & AUDIO MONITORING
Prometric deploys Digital Video Recording (DVR or CCTV) throughout its network of test centers. Where allowed by applicable law this includes audio-recordings within the reception/locker, proctor/security check-in, and test lab areas. This is necessary in order to protect the security of high-stakes proprietary test content, the integrity of the test delivery experience, to deter fraud and cheating, to protect against theft and pilferage, and for the security of staff and company property. Access to the recorded material will be strictly limited to authorized personnel and retained for a period as allowed by local applicable law.
BIOMETRICS
Where selected by your test sponsor and allowed by law, Prometric’s Biometric Enabled Check-In System is designed to improve the security and integrity of the testing process in a way that protects test candidate privacy while ensuring test candidate identity. The Biometric Enabled Check-In System converts a fingerprint image to a digital image that is used for identity verification purposes, detects and prevents fraud and misrepresentation, maintains the integrity of the testing process, and improves the security of test centers. For security purposes, all biometric data is securely transferred to and stored within Prometric’s Central Data Center. Prometric manages the security and confidentiality of the data, to protect it from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or alteration, and to retain and destroy the data in accordance with applicable law.
---------------
The collection, transfer, processing, use and storage of your Personal Data is necessary to administer a test to you, and Prometric is not authorized to register you for a test if you do not consent to the collection of Personal Data and information processing by Prometric. You must contact your test sponsor if you do not consent to the collection, transfer, processing, use and storage of your Personal Data.
I acknowledge that by checking “I consent” below that I am expressly consenting to the collection and processing of my Personal Data, as required by my test sponsor, which may include video and audio-recordings and/or biometric data and assessment results, and that such consent is effective until and unless I affirmatively withdraw that consent in writing to my test sponsor or via www.prometric.com/datasubjectrequests.

For security purposes, all biometric data is securely transferred to and stored within Prometric's Central Data Center located in Ireland. A. Privacy Statement for Biometrics
1. How the Biometric Enabled Check-In System Works
By placing the index finger on a scanner in a Prometric Test Center, the Biometric Enabled Check-In System equipment captures an image of the fingerprint and creates a digitized representation of the fingerprint (a "template"). The fingerprint image and template are paired with other Personal Data provided to Prometric by the candidate (such as name and other identifying information), allowing Prometric to identify the candidate accurately during the testing process and over repeated testing sessions.
2. Purposes and Uses for Biometric Data
Biometric data is solely used by Prometric to: (1) administer tests and verify a candidate's identity on an ongoing basis as they participate in present and future assessments; (2) pre-populate candidate credentials at most Prometric test center facilities consequently reducing the time required during the check-in process; (3) detect and prevent fraud and misrepresentation by unauthorized candidates; (4) maintain the integrity of the testing process; (5) improve security of test centers by detecting and preventing unauthorized access to secure areas; and (6) as required by law.
3. Disclosures of Biometric Data
As a matter of policy, Prometric does not disclose biometric data to any third party (including test sponsors). However, in the event of an investigation of cheating, unauthorized testing, or other misconduct, Prometric may disclose the biometric data to test sponsors or to law enforcement agencies and/or other third parties involved in the investigation of misconduct. Prometric will also disclose Personal Data, information and other records only in relation to lawful requests by regulatory, legal or government agencies with jurisdiction and/or authority to make such requests.
4. Security and Data Retention
Prometric and its subcontractors shall at all times protect a candidate's Personal Data with operational, administrative, technical and physical security safeguards. Unless a candidate's personal data or fingerprint images are being used in connection with an active security investigation the test sponsor, Prometric and/or the biometric vendor on behalf of the test sponsor shall retain candidate data collected through the Biometric Check-In System in accordance with the law in the jurisdiction in which the data was obtained, or for a maximum of five years from the date of the last assessment or the expiration of the purpose for which the candidate's data was collected, whichever time period is shorter, or as otherwise required by a test sponsor.
5. Data Processing
Prometric complies with all local privacy laws in the collection and processing of Personal Data or information, including biometric data such as fingerprint images. This includes but is not limited to, as required, providing disclosures on Prometric processes and procedures for the collection and processing of Personal Data, obtaining consent of the individual, and/or adherence to local Data Protection Laws in the regions where Prometric conducts business. When a candidate takes an assessment exam at a Prometric testing site, regardless of where the site is located globally, the biometric data is collected, transferred, processed and stored in Prometric's secure data center in Ireland. Candidates are required to expressly consent to the collection, transfer and processing of Personal Data, including biometric data.
At any time you may request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, or object to the processing of your Personal Data, or make inquiries, requests, complaints, or withdraw consent related thereto by completing a data subject request at www.prometric.com/datasubjectrequests. You are encouraged to consult the full Prometric Privacy Policy located at https://www.prometric.com/en-us/documents/PrometricPrivacyPolicy.pdf.
The collection, transfer, processing, use and storage of your Biometric Data is necessary to register, schedule and administer a test to you, and Prometric cannot do so if you do not consent to the collection of your Biometric Data. Please contact your test sponsor if you do not consent to the collection, transfer, processing, use and storage of your Biometric Data.
I acknowledge that by checking "I consent" below that I am expressly consenting to the collection and processing of my Biometric Data, as required by my test sponsor, and that such consent is effective until and unless I affirmatively withdraw that consent in writing to my exam sponsor or via www.prometric.com/datasubjectrequests.
